Back.

I'm finally blogging again. Haha oh wait, first things first.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VALERIE!!!!!

Hahaha. The lil girl is finally NINEteen.

Oh well.

So anyway, Lab's been getting a bit more noisy and fun than before, due to the returning groups from external SIP. Everyone's playing PSP or watching videos nowadays. TEKKEN! hahaha

My project's been finalised. Almost. DAS must still formally approve our Floorplan and give us the go-ahead to begin presentation preparations, even though we've already started on the preparations. This part's the most busy portion, even though it contains the least work.

My com's gonna hang quite often from this point forward, I think. That's because the rendering engine of Revit isn't quite a stable one, and it uses up a heck lot of power. According to the performance chart from Ctrl+Alt+Del, the Rendering process for a single FRAME of picture uses up 34% of the lab's core2Duo CPU power, on the minimum. Worse than playing MMORPGs.

And of course, the extreme time consumption for rendering so many walkthroughs means that at least 5 hours out of the 7 hours I spend in the lab will soon be spent moochling and foochling around drinking coffee and doing nothing else. I'll probably know every single instrumental part of Beethoven's entire 9th and 7th soon.

I do hope our project goes through. I want good marks for my portfolio.

SIP aside, I've been having quite a good life these days. Among other things, I finished my grading, passed my grade 5 ABRSM, finally made progress with the committee on handover, and of course, the DAS project.

Lunchtime's in an hour. Clock out's in 6 hours.

Once again, Happy Birthday Val!

Cya everyone!
