Dreams.

Sometimes even dreams from the night before can make your day.

Oh hey.

It's been 24 days since the last post. I didn't realise.

Oh well. It isn't really long, considering my extremely long Poly Holiday term. I've been working as a relief teacher at Greenview though, so between shoutings and markings, I don't really have much free time aside from consideration of the short working hours.

Anyway, Remix '08, which took place about 2 weeks ago, was quite a blast. It was decided during our "debrief" that the Alumni Band will be coming back to produce its own concert, sometime near the end of the year. I hope the repertoire will be mature.

Aside from Band stuff, my violin teacher has left yamaha, so I'm getting a new teacher. He's an australian named Mr Anthony Nicholas. Miss Low said he'd probably gag at the thought of a grade-5-er playing Czardas. haha. And I can okay.

TKD is also getting more hiong, because my grading's next sat. I performed 4 patterns in front of the entire VJC tkd team yesterday. It was the most terrible experience, and my heart almost leapt out and died on the cafe table. haha.

Okay I need to go for training already. Have a nice night people! And a good weekend to you!

Of silver tears and money bags.

The past 4 days have been so exhausting.

On sat, there was alumni band, and we had a very fulfilling rehearsal since there were enough "poached" players from the main band. Sing Sing Sing became faster than merry widow and my heart was pounding like crazy that I had to lean back and take a break after we paused. We finished up at around 1pm and I went back home. Could hear the alumni CO playing in the halls each time I came out of the room. Our alumni band's size is quite pathetic compared to theirs. haha. But we'll manage on the 13th!

Then came Sun, and I had to go to Changi Beach Club for extra training since mmy grading's just about a month away. The air in the dance studio was so thin and dry, I almost died of asthma. But there was hot tea and biscuits provided (first time anything's been provided at training), so I guess it went alright. Food makes me happy. Well, after that I went home and tapao-ed MeePok again for dinner. I think I'm becoming a little too reliant on their 24 hour service. After dinner it was practice all the way till bed.

Violin exam at hougang. I arrived late. Later than what I expected, anyway. Didn't have time to refresh and warm up properly. Kind of screwed up the first piece, and bounced the bow on the second piece. The third piece was my best though, managed to emo it all the way out. Just as well that the song is an emo song. Then sight-reading was a gun to the head, with 6 lines in E Major and 2nd and 4th positions. Aural went perfect. I think I might scrape a "merit" for this, though I'm not sure.

Packed up and left after a while and went home through about 20 mrt stations again. Then I had to leave again, this time for training. Training was quite eventful. With only around 25 people in attendance, taking class was so damn easy. Managed to teach a little unarmed combat too. Quite fun, overall. Went home and managed to stay awake till 1pm.

Tuesday, today, I went to Tampines Library. Read "The Wish List" by Eoin Colfer again. It's about a girl who has managed to do enough good deeds and bad deeds such that they're perfectly equal, so she's sent back to earth. Then she has to help an old man attain four things on his "wishlist", so that she will rack up enough good points to enter heaven. Very funny book, full of childishly sarcastic comments and mental human and spiritual behaviour.

After that, I left Tampines for TMS, where I went to see TWE again. The juniors(sec4 now) have improved! Just seemed like yesterday when I was scolding them for playing something wrong, and drilling them for 3 hours to get it right. And now they're doing the scolding and drilling. Very nostalgic. haha. So anyway, I stayed till almost 6pm, and then decided to go home.

I'm starting work tomorrow. At Greenview sec again, where else? Teaching A Math this time. Gotta refresh my Identities and Integration and Quadratics. Horrible. But at least it's not babysitting like last time. This time I'll be actually active in class. Might lose abit more voice though.

The A Level results will be out this Friday. Val and Tallie must be worried sick. Don't worry the both of you! You'll do fine!

Well, that's that. Dad's flying off to Mumbai again tomorrow, and work for me. School holidays next week so no work, but the week after that... I'll see how.

For now, Goodnight everyone!
