Right, on to the real post, then.

So, the past week was quite boring, apart from thursday and friday. Last thursday was the most rushing day I ever had. AutoCAD lab was taking so darned long until I kena late for violin by 10 minutes. Then sweating from running, cannot play properly.

Then Friday was also quite a happy day. Finish class at 1pm. Went back to TMS see TWE play. Kaosai quite pathetic leh the band. Mr Glosz where are you?

Ahhh, but TWE going for Balloon Hat Fest this year again, and this time the percussion instruments are going to be bought! FINALLY. The last time we ordered, it never came at all. So we had to borrow from Siglap sec and St Pat's. Thanks ah, 3 years belated thanks to these two school's percussion section.

Anyway, I have to train the section to play marching style now, which is quite hard to convert to within two weeks, not when they've been playing orchestral percussion for at least 2 years or one year. And their discipline is on the decline. Die man.

Sec 4s leaving already, should be matured right. But still they are as selfish as ever. Everything for themselves. Fine.

Sec 3s, too constrained and all that, what with exams failing and parents complaining, understandable, last time I also kena like that. So Nevermind.

Sec 2s! Ah now we've reached the worst level of every section, not just percs. It is always at sec 2 that the players get complacent and unwilling to play if it is hard. Not only that, but give up totally also. Carry on like this and confirm die one.

Finally. Sec 1s, still hard to judge, but the perc sec 1s are coming along very nicely. All they need is the right guidance, which alas, is being provided only by Dewi. So much for seniority.

Ahhh howhowhow, TWE already dropping like bird shit, now the percs are tagging along. Will Meroy do something? Hardly seems like it. Will Zat do something? Doesn't have the time. Mr Glosz? I also don't know what happened to him. Haven't seen him in the band room for quite a while. Who else? Benny and Kekang are doing the most they can, but they're leaving soon.

howhowhow. Maybe if the band was given a quite difficult piece, like Symphony no. 1: The Lord of The Rings, Excerpts From or something, then they'll be so occupied learning that piece that they'll just get better without knowing it.

Hahah people who know me well will know why I mentioned that piece. hahahah. It was the piece that made me fall in love with playing the timpani. hahaha, My first ever timpani solo, at 3 months experience too! haha. right. In the end I practice the piece so hard then we didn't play it anymore. WTH. hahahaha, but it made me into what I am today. My "maturing piece" haha.

Hahah, I just went for "Chamberesque" practice with Emily, Tallie, Val, Chuan and Kenneth. Yes, Kenneth even. He's our "manager". hahaha.

Anyway, we practiced some songs then Tallie's maid made some dessert for us. It was called "Orh Bee Bur" according to Chuan Li, and it was very nice. hahaha. Shiok.

Yeah, then after that, I had to go upstairs to Talz's room the bathroom to wash my mouth(common action for one with braces). While I was in there I was looking at the floor and all and was thinking, WOW IT'S SO CLEAN. And I have concluded: Tallie's house wasn't designed by a guy using Universal Design. HAHA. Guys, don't worry if you don't understand this. haha.

Anyway, when I came out from the bathroom, Kenneth and Chuan Li were there. Then they asked me wait first la, don't go down yet, stay here abit, never seen the room before, and all those excuses. I should have known la, but I pentium zero lah, cannot see so far one. haha so we stayed in the room and meddled with Tallie's stuff. Haha DON'T WORRY TALZ WE DIDN'T MESS ANYTHING UP.

hahaha. THEN. Kenneth suddenly said, ok lah, go down lah. So Sneaky right. But I still didn't catch anything. So we went down. Then as we were reaching the first floor, suddenly I realised the place was very dark, like someone switch off the lights. And I still didn't catch it.

THENNNNNN, I went down the steps and came face to face with a table with a cake in the middle, with the cadles and all, and everyone there (except kenneth and chuan la, they were with me on the staircase. haha). Then they started singing Happy Birthday la, but I was, using chuan's statement: Momentarily Stunned. hahaha.

Then made a wish, which I can't seem to remember properly, haha, and blew out the candles. Then came the most funny part of the day, in which I lifted up the Cherries on the cake with the knife(there were two, linked upwards by stems) and it looked really obscene. haha You try to imagine lah. Then kenneth started playing with the knife-with-cherries, as is his usual practice for anything dirty-minded. Hahaha. Then we started eating the cake. So nice sia the cake.

Ooo I got presents! hahah, a US POLO ASSN. Wallet and A Mug called The M Newspaper. And a HANDMADE CARD from Tallie!!!! WHEE!!! hahah. Such good friends I have!! CHERISH THEM FOREVER!! YOU HEAR ME! CHERISH AND CHERRIES FOREVER! hahahaha.

After that we practiced some more and started on the vocal songs. And I had to sing, wth I can't sing for nuts.... Not that I want or need nuts, anyway... hahaha.

After that, went off in something that seemed like a rush, because Tallie and her family had to go off for some mother's day dinner with her grandma. Yea. Then Emily WALKED to parkway, saying that "walking helps me slim down." haha, you're very slim already lah Emily. hahaha, ok, You too Tallie... And Val perhaps too much so. haha, still on diet somemore. mad.

hahaha. Yeah, so finally I reached home feeling super elated. I myself didn't really think much of my upcoming birthday, having already gotten my "early prezzies" from my mum and dad. haha.

All dimensions are made of the continuity of it's predecessing dimension.

This realisation came to me during monday's Engineering Maths lecture.

Haha, I guess not many people may understand the first statement. hahah call me crazy. And if you're bothering to read this post, don't bother to try understanding the content below if you don't.

The first dimension is nothing but a dot. A singularity, pure, without length, breadth, depth. It cannot be seen. The second dimension is a plane. Just area, no thickness or depth, and because of that it can be seen face-on, but when u look at it from the perfect side you can't see anything. The third is all that is visible, with length, breadth thickness, depth and all the terms of volumetric measurement we have known. The fourth is Time. Not the magazine. Just Time.

What struck me in the LT on monday was that the second D was actually a continuity of the first, where there is a factor of length, every way on the plane, creating area. It can be facing anywhere, but it is nothing when seen fromt the side. And the third D is a continuity of the second D, where the plane comes OUT of it self, and adding in the factor of depth, or thickness, and our eyes can see it from all it's directions.

The fourth D is the confusing one. If all dimensions were the continuity of the previous one, or more crudely, the "pop-out" of the previous, then it stands to reason that the fourth dimension is the continuity of the third. Like the frames in a motion picture, moving too fast for our eyes to spot the lag between frames. Each measurement of Time is a "frame" in our lives, only it is not running too fast for our eyes. It has no speed.

That means, there is a Fifth dimension, which is the continuity of the fourth, something which we have never "seen" to ever understand, because "seeing" in every dimension is different. Like how "seeing" in the 2nd may be a pure sense of a barrier at a distance, which we would call a line. Thus "seeing" in the 4th dimension would be totally different, more like being aware of what happens "when", not having to deal with age, but probably a restriction of some sort from the 5th dimension. If a being from the 4th dimension were to adjust things on the 3rd, we would never know it, because the 3rd IS our existence, we cannot SEE beyond what is affecting our dimension further than ourselves.

The 1st dimension also has a "life", if u want to call it that. More like an existence. It is there, the building block of the 2nd dimension, and the "atoms" of the bricks of the 3rd.

The continuity, in my opinion, is expansion, which starts from a singularity, which at the same time is made of all dimensions and yet is only one dimension, and expands, not the way we know, but as a singularity should, and became the universe. We are affected by only 4 of the dimensions, but the beings in the 4th and 5th and further more will be affected by more.

Then I went in to watch the concert.

Yeap, at the end wanted to go to the stage there to talk to Sandra then she walk off liao. WTH. Dao me. hahaha. But managed to have a 2 second "sign language" conv. Budget hahaha. But we communicated mainly through SMS so not that bad. hahah I WANT ZARA TO AID ME IN VIOLINNNNNNN hahaha she damn pro sia. I see I cry liao, wait long long to become her standard. hahaha.
