walow now my mother saying she nvr see me do work whenever im on the com... FINE, so i showed her a few of the sites that i used for the past projects. den she paiseh but still dowan to admit defeat, say she meant being curious about my work... search for things concerning my work...

OH MAN IM GOING BONKERS...
it's not tat i cannot help it... i could quit PSL and spend all my time in Band, or vice versa... but they are equally nice... den now the sec 2s are following in my footsteps, trying to juggle both at once...
dear juniors, i wud encourage u to take the Eugene way... sumhow i tink band is nicer, even though PSL have a hell lot of activities to wallow in. In fact, tats the bloody problem. Both sides have an equal number of challenging and FUN activities, and the bloody prob is tat they always clash. Even with 4 weeks in june, and with one activity taking up only 3 days, the 2 muz simply happen on the same bloody day...
WHY?! WHY BLOODY WHY?!
isit fate tat these 2 most wonderful things to happen to Temasek muz always clash?
actually i dun really care liao... actually, both of them have pros and cons...
Pros:
Band is always happening, giving new excitement all the time, new songs....
PSL is challenging and always more to the FUN den to the serious side...
Cons:
Band takes up a hell of a lot of time...
PSL gives A LOT of fun in one shot of 3days, den u have to wait for very long for the next big thing...
actually got sooo much more... but not enuff time to say all... so to all those ppl(u noe hu u r), i encourage u to stick with band...

yah, tats about it, if i can remember, then the endurance and Bugs no more liao...
1. Merry Widow, oh shit this is soo nice.. of course la hor... how can i dun like it? it's not possible to perform a song to ur best ability if u dun like it, and seeing tat we're playin it for SYF next year, i suppose.... oh well...
2. Jericho, this is THE song man, it so damn nice, with a good storyline too, can hear the sadness of being in exile, the fury of the ppl, all the shit can be heard in the recording, it's really damn good la...
3. Legends and Heroes, wah wad can i say abt this one... happens while i write this i listening to american riversongs, den can hear the similarity... but is a bit diff la, the american riversongs like very happy liddat, den this one like in war...
4. Saint and the City, wah this song very nice oso, but the storyline abit farni wan, sumting abt a dragon appear den got a person go kill... so farni, i din noe it was grade 3 oso, i tot it was harder than MW, which is grade 4...
5. Fairest of the Fair, oh this march is so nice, got the ringtone! but dun haf the recording, like i said in one of my previous entries, this composer dowan to have recordings...
6. October, okay la this song should oso nice if played properly, but since we nvr play for very long den i almost forgot how it sounds like...
7. Konigsmarsch, okay this song oso very nice, but the slow part doesn't seem to fit into the song...
8. O Magnum Mysterium, this song like so little percussion part, den i oso dunno how it sound like, so nothing much to say about this song...
aniwae, yah i was listening to a few other songs, den i was thinking, why dun they add eaglebend or oregon or some very bombastic songs other than our concert pieces??

oh fish.... im so fed up with joshua...
so now ignore me oso fun hor? good... VERY GOOD... i'll ignore u as well. keep up the ATTITUDE... it'll keep u happy...
actually, why dun u bloody hell just quit? it'll make everything easier for us, unless u consider urself so sadistic to make us endure the pain of having u in TWE... u shud be nicked "osh kosh b'joshua"... really, it's like the hairy rubber ball stuck in everybody arse... please dislodge urself from us.
aniwae, tats my message to joshua, if he does read it... honestly, i dun think he will ever bring his ego down to the point where even minor scoldings and mistakes are acceptable... just like the time we started on Tarzan Soundtrack Highlights, he starting oredi cannot play... den he kena scolding den bui song liao go one corner sulk... wah piang this kind of ppl where can go far wan. den after band ended i go tok to him, he ask me to play la, den okok i admit i oso at tat time cannot play... but at least practice la, try la TRY!!! i myself tried at home can? i take time to practice his part la, den i show it to him today, den he like 'wah, big deal' kind of thing.
i oso asked him whether he photocopy the cartoon express score oredi, den he say he no money, den can ask me for money, saying cos joel owe him 40cents... wad the heck, my prob ar? so i ask him go find joel in the canteen, but he dowan, just shrug and donkare...
oh den i arranging the messed up scores and found 2 pages of his merry widow score and a page of the old tarzan song. den i shout at him cos he playing the jazz set so loud, den he never respond... i tot is he oso got hearing prob cos like now my whole section kena oredi, so i wait la.
den wait until he stop den i call to him, den he still ignore, den i shout at him oso kena ignored... den i heard him asking zameer to lend him 40 cents to photocopy the score. den zameer say dun haf, den say "ask marcus la", cos i was sitting nearby... and guess wad the bloody idiot said.
" who's marcus??"
walow i almost wan to tear his bloody score there and then... but i decided to put it for public burning in the near future... but actually cannot, cos i will most likely burn the whole school down...
aniwae, i put it on the conductor's stand so the next conductor can help me handle him now tat i'm a ghost to him and vice versa.
the other sec 2s dun seem to want joshua to leave... bcos of the drumset... eh, anyone of u 4 girls can handle the drumset well, just try, try and TRY!! i say so many time liao, u nvr know untill u try...
ar, enuff about tat.

wah piang, now my sister go overseas den both my parents go wif her to 'prepare' or sumting... den left me n my bro at home, with my maid and my paternal grandma... den my maternal grandma came over to help us take care of the house, together with my cousin(i think, related sumhow...). so u can imagine wad happens when both grandma's are facing each other...
yesterday, my paternal grandma started shouting her mouth off, which is not very good considering it's at night... waking all the neighbours and all. yeah, den my 2 guests abit frightened i think. den this morning my cousin really frightened so she went home... hahaha den yah tats about all for tat...
ok on to yesterday... fiesta in the park. the yuhua band was more of capturing the audience with their dancers rather than the music, maybe it's for distracting us from hearing the shit they come up with... but they also not bad la, pasadena leh, i die n die again try oso cannot play ar... so they very good la... den St Andrews was good... wad more can i say after i brought their cymbals for them.... haiyo seth next time dun so careless leave behind kay?
oh yah this is a must say thing... TKGS's Two Worlds by takashi hoshide sucked..... really, im guessing the front part is ad lib style cos it's very diff from the recording... and wow, it's like they need 4 congas and 2 players to achieve a sound tat our band ppl pro ears couldn't even detect?!?! wad kind of shit were they playing? haiz, i heard they change their songs and playing two worlds i happy enuff, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment....
yeah the other bands i no nid to tok about la, lets just say they are not good enuff to distract ppl from their picnics...
oh and yesterday when i went home and went online, like almost all the ppl at the fiesta was online as well... hahaha like as if everybody go home straight away hook on the com... hahaha
i downloaded monfort sec band's 2003 SYF piece- persis, and it's not nice, starts like way rushing or too fast and so slurrish, so unprofessional... den the chimes like way way(to wash) too loud... okok i noe i very lame...
aniwae, no wonder monfort got silver, if cannot play den dun play la, give ppl impression tat u all suck totally. and the recording oso has the clapping at the end... wah pathetic leh i can count summore... i think it's about 17 claps?? wadeva la, compare wif our TWE american riversongs, got the catcall and all those... even with our Tales of the Sea, they are really pathetic man...
even me wif hearing problem and all tat, can tell tat they just want to make a good first impression wif the title Persis Overture-grade 5... wadeheck... i play lord of the rings timpani oso like shit still better than theirs, walow i hear the timpani solo i cry ar... hueva used the timpani after them muz be crying oso, the skins(all four) muz haf cracked or all the mallets are broken... lousy piece of band shit... the only good thing i can say is tat they are brave to play persis on a showcasing occasion like SYF...
either tat or they are stupid...

aniwae, i was talking about our end of year concert, the wad 17 premiere thingy... the sec3s playing ross roy, merry widow, legends and heroes, and loch lomond... the sec 2s are playing selecs from "annie", and wad other shit i can't remember it rite now... the sec1s? disco lives! and some other nonsense i can't remember.... oh yah and merry widow oso...
now the alumni, they haven't planned wad to play yet. i would suggest american riversongs... or persis or sumting... hahaha blow ur brains out, seniors. hahahah....
aniwae, it's not fair! how come they(sec2) get 6 songs and we only have 4?? give us sumting more la...
okok. today. quite productive la, considering i taught the sec 1s the truth behind the rolls, den muz have royce, den can drive car... arh nvm... let's just say one day the sec1s will become better than the present sec 2s... i mean it. i disagree wif zat tat sec 2s shud take the sec1s and the sec3s take the sec 2s and so on... i think the sec 3s shud take the sec 1s cos they are new and eager to learn about all those nonsense tat we can explain... amazingly, the sec1s are more eager to learn than the sec 2s... take a look at joshua, den look at zameer.
any difference? okok let's not take them as examples. take the rest of the sec1s and sec2s... the sec1s are willing, very willing to learn all about the rolls and rudiments and thriplets and off-beats and stuff, den look at the sec2s, everything oso they know, but they dun bother to ask for confirmation or wadeva...
now u know wad i mean? and to all the sec 2s who read this, better buck up, one day they'll catch up and u'll be pushed to one side, ignored...

wah i haven't blogged for very long time le, mostly caught up in band stuff and rebelling at teachers. eh actually not really rebelling, but i'll tok about that later.
firstly, band bbq. yeah it rocked...

aniwae, we took the 10 to 13 route to east coast park, den walk like hell to pit 9 and 10. aiyah zat why so far away wan? yeah den met zameer lisha and dewi there. my section like got the most ppl no coming can? got shengxiang, sandra, joshua, joel, shima, effa and jethro... haiz, pathetic, but i think jethro can dun count, since he nvr come oredi... budden got juling and hakim come! tat makes up for the loss totally. hakim was showing his rock climbing skills by climbing the light house thing... den juling help wif the fire, until hands all black... weijian say it's edible, hahaha, i nvr knew tat...
aniwae it was totally fun. but halfway jingqin down wif fever, den she went home...
oh and there was the tallie-nelson thing... seems like a flute tradition to be wif nelson, oh well, hahaha, the wallet dropping thing too, eugene how can u say such things?!? hahaha
aniwae, after tat went home lar, den nothing to do liao... wah piang. oh the festival winds thing was shit, all sectionals only, den all of them except st pat's ppl dunno wad legends and heroes sound like, and the st pat's guys weren't there... so in the end donkare we play like first time liddat...

BAND BBQ TML!! CANNOT WAIT AR!!
just realised our band playing the slow sad part of centuria sounds nicer than the recording... okok their tone and all tat is nicer but ours got this funny sad expression about it... wah can't stand! i wanna go back to musical times!!
speaking of the musical, the recording is tml, and all i can do is pray tat i wun cock up tml... im gonna buy all the cds, and listen to them like no tomorrow...
ohyah, i just change my fav song thing. it was merry widow, and now it's american riversongs... but of course my liking for merry widow hasn't gone down...
should have known legends and heroes was composed by the guy hu made american riversongs, sounds the same...
aniwae, today's assembly programme totally rocked! credit goes to me for making joel stand up... WAH! CHIO BU AR! hahaha only the upper sec will understand, so dear juniors, dun worry too much about it...

OMG OMG!!

argh... i feel awful... for those hu dunno wadeheck this mad blogger is writing about, i'll tell u.
from wad i heard, Joshua just walked out of the band room in the middle of the practice, where zat scolded him for "not learning his notes"... den he just throw his sticks down and walked out... is tat wad happened? and, from wad yimei said, he said he wanted to quit... well, hao jie wud be happy if tat happened.
i'd been wanting to tok to joshua oredi after haojie told me about the incident yesterday. but wadeheck, if he quits, honestly i will just ask him whether he said it out of fury or he really meant it... if he really meant it, i'll just ask him to go and never come back to the band room again. but if he says he didn't, i'll scream at him to call Zat and apologise right away...
i'll be doing tat tomorrow morning... wanna come watch?
okokok i didn't mean tat... dun come watch, or it'll either make him so embaressed tat he'll try and put on a strong front and say out loud: I QUIT!.... or he'll get so angry at the amount of ppl there tat he'll say: I QUIT!!

i got fairest of the fair ringtone!! hahaha, actually download onto com wan, but use infrared thingy put in the fone. couldn't find the recording, so had to settle for the MIDI. turns out John Philip Sousa is very famous for many marches and also had the sousaphone named after him... but strangely, he nvr once allowed ppl to record his songs, hence all the recordings available are 10 second pieces of shit with crowds cheerings in the background...

yesterday's marching band competition totally rocked!!
somehow after seeing the drumlines of the final four bands, i suddenly have the urge to push my section to such standards... i wouldn't mind too if TWE became TMB, budden it wud mean a hell lot of changes... no more emo stuffs, no more fun filled things, no more dynamics changes, a hell lot more percussion instruments, and many more things...
it would mean spending alot of money on percussion instruments too... like marching snares, field drums and tenors, not to mention basses...
haiz, aniwae, can't do much about it...
tat was yesterday, today' festival winds rehearsal was ok la, compared to the last one... i managed konigsmarsch and fairest of the fair quite well, which is very good compared to last time... i heard from some ppl they play fairest of the fair during morning assembly, realy? i muz ask dem for the cd. it's a really nice song, for marches, that is.... oh shit here i go toking about marches again...
tml going to watch spidey2 with the usual ppl, sam ryan denan and some others... wonder y joel's parents grounded him when his grades are far too much better than mine. the thing about singaporean parents is tat they expect too much out of their poor children. they expect singapore's education to be evolving at a very very slow pace, which it certainly isn't. they suppose tat we're learning wad they were at the same age, the same time, at the same speed... yeah rite, wad they learnt in sec 1 we did in pri 5..
tat would explain why my dad was a bit angry when i didn't get A1 for english in sec 1.
he said "u know, i got A1s every year when i was in RI..."

hu de heck give's a damn wad grade he got for english? he's a maths teacher and he doesn't need to know very advanced english, or his classed wud be all cconfused... tats stupid... it's exactly the same bloody situation as my chinese, which my dad fortunately didn't take during his time in RI... why do i need chinese for? for example, if u r a surgeon who studied in china and spoke only chinese, got full As for chinese and chinese lit, and u are operating on an indian man, with malay nurses around u in a british private clinic... now wad use do u have for chinese? even if everyone was chinese around u, and u wanted to ask for a operation knife, would u say(in chinese):"please pass the 7-and-a-half-inch long instrument for making openings in semi-soft material also known as the epidermal layer on the surface of the homo sapiens"?? no rite? crazy MOE..

WOOOHOOOOO!!!!
yesterday totally rocked!! the musical was really nice. of course, the music tat we played our hearts out for was the best part of the whole performance. yeah man!!
the whole theater was filled that day. wad with all our wonderful teachers amd friends. not forgetting our wonderful seniors, the alumni band.... i totally love yesterday! how does the song go? yesterday... all my troubles seemed so far awaaayyy....
aniwae, had alot of strange/funny/scary encounters yesterday...
encounter no.1: benjamin, florence, ruiqi, haojie, and me(was yimei there too? can't remember), were walking back to the theater's backstage after one of the meals, then the bloody door was closed. so ruiqi tried the door, okok so it couldn't open, she tugged and tugged at it but still cannot open. so she started knocking the door... den benjamin just took the knob and turned it, and it opened... right, so does it mean ruiqi is weak in the arms or weak in the head?? okok i veri mean....
the next 2 encounters all abt nelson wan... scary man, tat guy...
encounter with nelson no.1: as most of the musical band people know, the orchestral pit has 2 doorways, and the right side one is sometimes completely dark, except for the green exit sign. only the percussionistand the trombones use that doorway to the pit...
yesterday, as we were going for lunch, as usual jing qin, shima and me were trying to scare effa by switching off all the doorway lights and running away, leaving her to travel tat doorway all by herself... normally she'll run after us... okok, den when we looked back to see how see was handling the situation, there were five of us!! oh shit! whose the 5th guy!! ghost! aniwae, when effa finally ran into the light, with the 5th guy we saw hu the hell it was, it was nelson... oh f*** wad the hell was he running for?? was he scared of the dark too? omg..
aniwae tats the first encounter ok now for encounter with nelson no.2:
after dinner(i think), we had some free time to do makeup or change or wadeva, so after everything was done, me and benjamin walked back to the pit. den as usual the lights were off, so the doorway was in darkness except that green light. den when ben and me reached the pit, got nobody there, den we saw some of our band members up on the stage. ben was like, EH I WANNA GO UP THERE TOO!! aniwae, we were on the way to the stage, going back down the stairs. den as we turned the corner into that dark doorway, there was this strage person strolling up lor, like very scary can, walow eh, he got nothing better to do than stroll up isit?? walow....
aniwae, yah those are the 3 encounters...
ohyah the bloody uncle... this one muz tok about...
after the whole thing, we had to move the instruments back rite? so got the lorry for us to put our instruments, and the uncle was so damn bloody f***ing rude, he wanted to save time by piling all the big instruments on the moving platform, den when i said too many he say in chinese:" trust me, they won't fall, den will save time"
at tat point of time the congas started to wobble and the concert bass drum started to move, so did the gong... den i wanted to shout at the mad uncle, but stopped myself, cos he's after all the driver, and i can't risk any mad driver moving the instruments, den after i was done with the percussion instruments i bui tahan liao, went back to the room, and requested eugene's help to knock some bloody sense into the uncle... that uncle just stand around not helping, and making comments about how things will fall... i damn angry at that time...
den after tat we went back to school... i took my festival winds scores from the band room and sticks. den wen home... i feeling very emo can... happy about the performance, sad that it's over, worried about sunday's festival winds rehearsal, angry with the bloody alienated uncle, and happy at the prospective of going free to today's syf thingy...

aniwae, i going to school in less than an hour's time, so i'll make this entry short. the past week was really hectic, wad wif musical rehearsals and all... aniwae, monday was nothing, except tat i went for self pract and also managed to photocopy the SBT. den eugene went to practice his mace thingy, den left all the people hu going off there. den they all go off den left me and rachel in the band room. so i practice and practice the festival winds songs, i think i'm gonna cock up again on sunday. aniwae, eugene came back at around 4.40, saying his hand injured or sumting when he caught the mace after throwing it, how heavy isit btw?
ok so after that i went home. nothing to talk about there, so move on to tuesday.
tuesday not so bad la, except when the human anaesthetic walk in and tried to teach us chemistry, 6 people immediately fell asleep, me being one of them. im a really light sleeper, and i heardly sleep over 8.30 in the morning, so u can guess how powerful the anaesthetic is.
after school i went to the band room to prepare for the musical band thing zat was going to conduct, den suddenly the venue change to 5/1 classroom, den i tot, okaaay, so we moving the drumset to the classroom? budden zat say nonid. ok lor, den go down, zat told us the percussion parts, made us confused as usual... after tat went up to band room, mr glosz did the songs for our TWE end-of-year concert. loch lomond first. man, i was so bored wif nothing to play, but listening to the song made up for it. it's very nice. reminds me of something sad, can't remember wad. it's somthing to do wif my kindergarten times. ar nvm... den after tat we did merry widow. wwwaaaaah, so nice tat song... but the last part sounded like rubbish collectors collecting rubbish at high speed... hahaha but i managed to do the ending, now i realise oredi, muz change to stacatto sticks after the number 19 part, during the pause muz change.
aniwae, after that got committee meeting, den go home..
the next few days was really hectic, we went to kallang theater and do all tat crap shit. the pit like so low can, den the bloody audience cannot see us. haiyo.
tat was wednesday, yesterday however, the sudience came to the pit wall and look down at us, like some exhibition. most of the primary school kids came and admire our drumset. hahaha... aniwae, tats all for yesterday
today leh... nothing to tok about. in my brother's words: i woke up brush teeth, ate breakfast and use the com, den how i know wads going to happen next...
