This is the story of a boy.

As the he crossed the stone threshold
beholding the large complex
his eyes chanced upon two
and his brows raised
he had never seen them before.

He had kept silent
a wondering soul in search of an answer.
And of the two, one spoke,
"hello", "hello" he replied,
and his silence broke.

He found his answer that night
he broke his monotony.
The three, now friends
merry in each's company
thought nought of the future.

A break in time
spoke of a rift
for the two had much to finish
and so he waited
ever counting the days till the end.

When the end came
he saw the two once again
and they picked up where they left off
never did they still see
what lay into the future.

He kept them close to heart
and spoke of them much
he emptied his schedule
ever waiting for opportunity
to come knocking again.

A new year passed
new events came to hand
and the two, like all before them
had a new mission
and the monotony began once more.

His schedule stood alone, empty
whilst theirs' lay all filled in
The future he never glimpsed
was creeping in on him
as it always had been.

He crossed the stone threshold
once more
with the heavy feeling in his heart
acknowledging the rift it now bore
as a painful reminder.

His smile vanished
his spirit defused.
and as though stolen away
the light left his eyes
and he spoke once again no more.

Hello.

It's 7.45pm on a Friday and I'm blogging. Why leh? Cos no training today. Sian.

Anyway, Math today was quite alright, apart from the last question, which looked more like a question the ETCM would be more familliar with. Must be set by an ETCM teacher. So hard la the question. So many constants all over the place and sine here and cosine there.

By the way, ETCM stands for Electronics blahblahblah. The Electronics part is the only relevant part here, cos the question turned out to be on differentiating a formula to do with voltage and power phases. Crazy right?

But the rest of the paper was fine.

After the paper, Clar, Mich, QL and Jerry went opp to buy ......bubble tea. Of all things. I rather buy KFC. And QL and me were arguing about the Integral of Sine-Root-x. Stayed there and chatted a bit about our chinese new year celebrations this year and then we walked back to the bus stop.

Came home and slacked until now. Going to practice later. Got a HECK LOT to practice. In the midst of my exams some more.

And I think I'm not going for training on Monday also, although I'm seriously compelled to. TBP on Tuesday. It will be the first time I miss training completely on purpose. Darn, I'm changing.

And my dad wants me to go back to Greenview to teach this hols. And the MOE website is screwing up and not accepting my password. What a lousy portal. Government-based, too.

And.... nothing else to say. Goodbye.

Wah sian.

Studying on Chinese New Year is crazy man. What made Temasek Poly's Staff become so sadistic and decide to hold the study week on the festive period of CNY.

And it's been freaking boring.

Sunday was alright in the morning, with visit to my gran's place. Then after lunch we headed back home. Yes. Just one visit. Had a relative's family over to visit though.

Practiced twice on Sunday, and spent the night mulling away as usual. Did two Math papers...

Monday was boring again. Wanted to go watch a movie but no one was free... Then in the evening my family and I went to Glutton's Bay (it's beside Esplanade) for dinner. Then we walked around and around and finally walked to Marina Square to shop in....

Watson's.

What the Hell man. Women can shop anywhere at anytime. While we were waiting for my mum and sis to come out of Watson's the assistant came and closed the shutter to about a metre off the ground, and all the men in the store suddenly felt the urge to get out. BUT all the women remained inside browsing!!

But for my mum shopping is still good, on all accounts. Especially for me. That's because I can't be bothered to shop for clothes. HAHAHA.

Well, that's Monday.

Today was a bit different. Spent the whole afternoon at my aunt's place, slacking and playing cards and getting heart attacks all over the place. After that went home and then did more Math and stoned in front of my laptop and finally decided to blog.

Boring right? I can't wait for the exams to be over.

What a schedule my life is.

"Thus will all fall, when the arrow of cupid strikes them."

Haha, that phrase just came into my mind. I don't know if it was something I read before, or something I just came up with.

Anyway, life's been quite alright now. Placid, apart from some happy days. Let's start from Monday, since my last post was on Sunday.

Monday

IntHT was quite sad. My group didn't win, although Ms Goh said she liked our idea very much. Ah well. We had our last Math tutorial for the year. Literally, not just the academic year. My course doesn't need to take Eng Math 3. Quite wasted.

Anyway, after school there was a stupid briefing that took damn long to start. FDM people left early and I rushed to training, eating Mac on the bus. When I reached, seems that Jes reached not too long ago too. Both of us were late.

And for some reason, I was emo-ing at training. But the train ride back cooled it off pretty much somewhat.

Tuesday

Today was the crappiest day. I went for my dental and the doctor only called me in an hour after the slated time. Never happened before. And on the day of the Lab Test, too. So I made him rush through and then I rushed all the way to ESFAC Lab. Turns out that I was the earliest.

The test was quite alright. If there wasn't any 30 minute restriction or if the switches were new and not rusty, I would have gotten full marks. Damn.

So after that, QL, Jerry and me stayed back to finish up the REBUS project. I put it in the locker around 4pm. Then I went to White Sands. Happened to see two of my 2e2 GV students at Tamp MRT platform.

After everything was done at white sands I went home and slacked the whole evening and night away. Such a waste of time.

Wednesday

Went to parkway to buy stuff, then went home. Then went to school for Psycho Lecture. Then went to Tampines Central area to walk around and buy more stuff. And I met Jacqueline outside the MRT station. Haven't seen her since Death Note Marathon. She seemed genuinely surprised I was alone on Cupid's hunting day afternoon.

Anyway. I went home and changed and all and left for Compass Point. Met up with Jes and passed her the stuff I got for her. She gave me something too! I totally didn't expect it. haha. It's a small package made of wrapping paper with a ribbon and two miniscule paper cranes. Cute. And inside the package was... chocolates and sweets. haha. It's alright. I still can eat them, even with my teeth like that. hahaha.

After Jes left with her parents for dinner, I went to starbucks myself and stayed there for about half an hour, then I went home. Spent the Valentine's Night with my violin.

Thursday

Went for TBP Lab, which was quite slack considering QL and Me handed up our Assignment last week already. After that was REBUS where we were reminded about the quiz and how to computate Development Charge. Then had to wait all the way to 3pm for the FDM Club meeting. Meeting was a controlled disaster. And there was no Violin lesson today. So I went home and slacked till I went to sleep. That's even more slacking.

Friday

Went to school for 55 minutes to take the REBUS test, which turned out tricky. I managed to spot the tricks, at least. 50-storey condo at Changi Airport indeed.

Anyway, after the test, I realised Tallie had left 45 missed calls on my phone, wow. I never had that many, except the 57 I had after my handphone-confiscation period in sec 3. And that was for 2 months. This 45 was in about an hour.

So I met up with Tallie at Tampines and we went to starbucks. Chatted and then went up to the food court (cos miss-no-oily-food-please couldn't bear the thought of burger king and LJS) to have lunch. Val joined us later and thankfully she wanted LJS, so we went down to the CS LJS to eat, and guess what. We saw Emily, eating with a friend. And two tables away was her junior eupho player Safirah(I think that's how her name's spelled). Talk about a small world.

Anyway, after that I went home and practicised, then I left for training. Training was quite slack. Jes didn't come at all cos she had some OGL stuff going on at TJ.

Mel came later and passed me her belated valentine's day gift for me, a mini-cactus. She also gave my sis and my bro stuff. hahaha. I had a damn hard time on the MRT back home, with my bag, which I couldn't move about too much cos of my bro and sis' gifts, and with the cactus in my hand.

Spent the night slacking at home again.

Yeah, that's about it for my week. I'm beginning not to mind the idea of my friends coming to my house for CNY, though there's nothing to do. Or maybe it's because there nothing to do.

But oh well. Nothing much gonna happen the next week.

Exams begin on friday.

HAHAHAHA THIS IS DAMN HILARIOUS.

Take note, the original orchestral version REALLY sounds like this, apart from the parts they cut out. In a way.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=8lZ5Yez0Hec

Funniest version of 1812 I ever heard. The guy doing the cannon effect is damn funny.

After Monday night(Tuesday early morning, actually), I have come to a conclusion.

Humans think more when they're sleeping than they do when they're awake.

It's damn pissing to sit up in bed at 3am in the morning and realise that you remember everything you've been thinking about for the past hour instead of sleeping and that the black emptiness is just the inner side of your eyelids. Then you lie back again and repeat the whole darn process for half-hour intervals.

Maybe I was too hyped up after training or my mind was already crammed full with too many things. Either way, it's gotta stop soon. Exams nearing.

Anyway, Monday was a fine day.

Tuesday was quite alright too.

Today will be a damn boring day. PSPS and Psycho only again and school is until 4pm.

Oh and I wrote a poem. I think it's my first ever. Or second... Either way it's one of the few I have ever done. But I won't post it, so don't get your hopes up.

Apart from that, nothing much's been happening.

So, goodbye.

Right. The past week's been quite sian.

Wanted to go out with Jes and Mel yesterday. Mel and me were already considering leaving the BBQs we were at early so we could meet Jes after her tuition at orchard. Turns out that Jes also had a BBQ to attend, so it was off.

But I left the BBQ early anyway. Sorry Clar, I just wanted to go home and lie down at that point. My hip was killing me.

As to regards about my hip, I injured it during training on Friday.

Back on to the topic about the boring week.

Monday was quite alright, with the HnT presentation. Then I went to see the doctor, and at night there was that fiasco. The train ride with Jes made me feel better though. Thanks Jes.

Tuesday was quite crappy. Met with Mr Tang to discuss the design for the JAE booth. Then went home already.

Wednesday was another stupid day, went to school, had PSPS presentation and Psycho class. That's it. School all the way till 4pm just for TWO LESSONS. Wth man.

Thursday was not bad. Math test was crap. But had violin lesson after that and my teacher gave me some uplifting news.

Friday was a weird day. Firstly, there was only 2 lessons. 1, actually, since TBP doesn't really count much considering the lecturer's style of teaching. So we only had REBUS lecture cos the tutorial after that had been finished on Wed already.

After that Clar, Ericia, Mich and Me went to CS for lunch. QL and Jerry didn't come because QL didn't have to go for the Club Meeting later and Jerry was practicing for his HnT presentation. So we went to food junction to eat and walked around after that. Man, those girls can really shop man. Shop but come out with nothing but a small packet of hair clips. Damn good.

Then we went back to school for the FDM Club meeting. Damn good sia, I kena selected to be president. Thanks hor.

So we wrapped up the meeting around 3.15pm and I went back to see TWE. They've got concert toms! But out of tune la, oh well. And I couldn't practise cos they were having full band.

So I went home and then left again for training. Then I got that hip injury. Mel was late, Jes was later. As usual. hahaha. Mel also got an injury during training.

After training, we went to collect Jes's bag from her senior who turned out to be from TMS! My batch! ahaha but I've never talked to him before, only seen around school. Different class ma what to do. Anyway, after that Jes Mel and me went to eat at some outdoor restaurant place along the Kembangan side of Changi Road.

After that I took the train with Jes back.

Stayed up till 1am studying my psycho and listening to Tallie yakking into the phone. This is called good multi-tasking.

Saturday. The day of psychotic reckoning. Woke up at 7am and left for school. The Psycho exam was unexpected. Case studies instead of regular fill-in-the-blank questions or essay questions. I left the LT 2nd. hahaha. I just wanted to get out of there.

Went home, practiced a bit, and read and slacked till 4pm where I left for Pasir Ris. Met up with Mich Ericia and QL. Went to Pasir Ris Park and waited and waited and WAITED for Clar the birthday girl to turn up. She came at 7.10pm, after telling us to reach at 6. Damn good. Haha.

Then I was planning to meet up with Jes and Mel after that, like I said above, but it never went ahead. So I left at 8plus with QL and went home. The night was damn crap. Only Val came online, so after talking to her a bit, I went to read a book.

Then Today is Sunday, such a boring day. I'm stuck at home blogging.

But tomorrow is Monday. One of the happier days of the week.

Until then.
