This new year's eve sucks.

Everyone's away, nothing to do.

I spent the entire day at home. Can you imagine of something more freaking boring than staying at home on new year's eve all day?

And Jes forgot that we agreed to countdown together on the phone.

Everything's going haywire. I hope 2007 won't be this sucky.

Nothing left to say.

|
Right, I just came back from the Death Note Marathon with Jes Jac and Mel. Dead tired but my mind is awake completely so I couldn't sleep, so I ended up blogging.

Jes has come down with a cough. I really hope she gets well soon. She was coughing throughout the entire 4.5 hours in the theater, I was damn worried. I still am. Hope she recovers fast.

Oh and Death Note 1 and 2 are both damn cool. You should go watch if you haven't.

So, yesterday started off quite alright, with me meeting up with Jes and her friend and going for another of her friend's church camp activity. I think I've been to too many PSL camps in my life already until the activities seemed quite bland to me.

The sandcastle thing was quite fun though. Was dragged into the sea after everything was over. Jes was the best la just sit there and nothing happened to her. She got quite a tan though, rosy cheeks and all.

And Jes's friend JunKai (I think that's how it's spelt) was preaching to me about life solutions and all, I already knew what was coming. And I don't want to. Tried to explain to him my own views on religion but it didn't really divert his aim at all anyway.

After that we all went home and I practiced for a while before going to TM to meet Jes again with Mel and Jac. Ate at Long John's then finally entered the cinema.

Like I said, the movie rocked.

After the movie, we all walked Jes to where her mum was waiting for her, and said goodbye then. Then the three of us walked to the main road to catch a cab. I should have sent Jac and Mel home first before going home myself. I don't know what let me get out first.

Then I went to bathe, brush teeth and tried to sleep. BUT I COULDN'T. I don't know why.

Maybe it was the movie. Some parts of it were really touching. Hardly any movie moves me like this.

So now, I'm left with nothing to do tomorrow. Countdown has always been this way for me. Tried to get Jes and Mel out for countdown by ourselves, but Mel would be working, and Jes parents wouldn't allow it, for sure. Doesn't help that she has friends staying over as well. So it will be just me, my laptop, and my phone.

New year doesn't really seem like one to me now. It's just like a marker to aid in the poor human memory of dates.

Not a bad day out, I'd say. Or a night out, actually. No wait. It's a night and morning out. Yeah.

Now I've nothing to do already.

WHEEEEEEE. I'm happy happy happy.

Went out of my house with my violin case and waited for the bus 10 to go to parkway to meet Jes and Mel.

SURPRISE! They were on the bus! hahaha I was about to board the 10 then I looked at the top and saw Jes's face. Mel was hiding her face in her jacket I think. hahaha

So I went up to sit. Obviously. Then....

ANOTHER SURPRISE! They gave me christmas presents! hahahahaha a bit late, but still so nice of them to give me presents. hahaha.

Firstly Jes handed me this small package which was from the both of them, then she passed me this The Wallet Shop plastic bag which was from her, then Mel gave me this HUGE Isetan paper bag. hahaah.

The package from the both of them was this Shirt with this nice print in front with the words "Tropicana Life". I don't know if it's the brand or what. hahaha

Jes gave me an MYUK wallet! hahaha Nice nice nice.

Mel's HUGE package was a sling bag from.... Isetan. I don't know the brand but there's this nice print on the back with some words that I can't really read.

So all in all, they gave me 3 presents! hahah

Once again... THANKS JES AND MEL!!!

Hahaha, we went to parkway and played at the arcade like siao. haha they forced me to change into the shirt they gave me. It's nice! hahahaha. We went to play pool also, then we left for my violin class.

Then WTH man I found out that it was Term Break for Yamaha students. I FORGOT!

So we went to eat dinner... where? at KFC. Darn it, we're all gonna get FAT.

Then after that, nothing to do... We went to the arcade again!! hahahaha. Played like crazy again. Then Mel had to meet her family at KFC, so Jes and me walked to the bus stop.

BUS 43 takes damn long to reach parkway man. But Jes managed to catch one anyway. DUH. hahaha. Then after that I walked back through Roxy Square and came home lorh.

Pics of the Wallet, Bag and Shirt will be up soon! hahaha.

Cya.

Happy boxing day everyone.

So. It's the day after christmas, and 8 days to the first day back in school. Psycho is screwed if we don't complete it tmr, and I haven't started IntHT, and YongHan wants me to help him with his too. How. Die man.

And Jes's cruise ends tmr at 7pm. She's probably between Phuket and Singapore now.

Anyway, today I met Mel at Parkway and we ate Burger King for lunch. The guy who served us was damn anti-social man, never look at us when he was taking our orders. haha Talk about the shy getting promoted. He was the assistant manager of the team.

After lunch we went to the arcade and played all the typical carnival style arcade games. There was the Hammer thing which u slammed then the meter will go up... hahaha I beat Mel in that! hahahaha. After that we went to play pool, which was hilarious as usual.

Mel says my arcade playing is not fun one cos I too relaxed already. hahaha.

We ate dinner at KFC, which is just beside Burger King, which is where we ate lunch. We're gonna get FAT.... Anyway, after dinner we went to wait for Mel's bus 36, which took about half an hour to come. Then I went home, play computer, practice, talk about the depressing Chamberesque stuff....

Life lacks something right now. Or someone.

I wonder where StarCruises dock? Mel and I were wondering about that today.

Life is stressful right now.
-Psycho commercial
-IntHT research
-Philyouth Audition
-School Reopening
-REBUS presentation

Yeah. Cya all.

Merry Christmas Everybody. May your Christmas be happy.

This year's Christmas doesn't seem right for me. Was chatting a bit with Joel and he also thought so.

Well, I've nothing much to blog, so...
Random thoughts:
-Jes must be enjoying whatever Christmas Celebration they hold on the Superstar Virgo right now, hope she's all well.
-Mel just knocked off from work.
-Val's sleeping.
-Tallie's probably sleeping also.
-I can't wait to go for the Death Note Marathon.
-I can't wait to begin alumni rehearsals for the probable concert.
-I'm dead for Psycho and probably IntHT too.

This Christmas is boring and sad. It's lacking something...

Sad but Happy.

That's how I feel this christmas season. Contradictive, isn't it, but true all the same. This year's christmas, for me, isn't really very merry, or happy, or what.

Let's list out the reasons I'm sad:
- Jes is going on a cruise for 4 days and I can't ask her to celebrate christmas with me.
- Mel is stuck at home and I can't meet her on Monday to pass her her present.
- Talz's and Val's and my schedules can't seem to find a common time to meet up and exchange gifts.
- Everyone's distant this christmas. Doesn't feel like a cheerful X'mas this year.

Now, let's list out the reasons I'm happy:
- Jes will enjoy herself on her cruise. It's on the Superstar Virgo, her horoscope. hahaha.
- Mel will probably be enjoying her christmas with plenty of her friends.
- Talz and Val will surely be enjoying themselves this christmas cos their timetables are so full.

Yeah.

To overcome my unhappiness this year, I splurged on everyone's presents. I went higher than my budget last year, which was higher than the previous and which in turn was higher than the last. I hope that, by getting better and nicer gifts for everyone, they'll be happier. Thus, their extra happiness will make up for my lack of it.

Anyway, I just met up with Jes to pass her my christmas gift for her. Just seeing her sort of erased my unhappiness then. Hope she likes the present.

Past week's been not bad.
Mon was training as usual, but Jes and Mel came over to my house for "pre-training dinner" which consisted of this WHOLE SPRING CHICKEN and ONE PIZZA. Like, how to finish?! hahah So they packed up the half we couldn't finish and brought it for anthony colin they all to eat at training. hahaha.

Tues was quite stupid, then it became quite happy, then it became quite painful, then it became quite funny, then it became quite shiok, then it became tiring. Stupid was when Jes, Mel and me we to hougang to train. I didn't know they train at HDB one. And it was frickin raining, and the senior belts did Physical Training, which I found extremely stupid. I didn't go training to do PT. And for the stupidest reason, I thought Jes was angry with me, so I was depressed all through training. Hai... yea. Then Happy was when we three went to Kovan to eat and "shop" hahaha. Painful was during my dental after shopping. Funny was meeting up with Jes Mel and Renhao at Vivocity and playing cards. Shiok was Alumni Band practice. And last of all, of course the tiring comes from at night when I went home. hahaha.

Wednesday was concert day. It rocked!... Well, the Alumni Band performance, anyway. And Jes gave me a Blue Rose! And Mel gave me a Sunflower! I have never gotten flowers after a concert before! hahhaa so nice. The flowers are still at my bedside table, but they're.... well.... withering. hahaha. See the two flowers and their givers at Mel's blog. Jes looked really nice that night. Pity she wasn't wearing the shawl she brought. But nvm, still pretty. Hahaha. Anyway, they all looked good lah, just in case Mel comes and says "biased" like she always does. The three of us went all the way to Whitesands after the concert to eat......... Macdonald's. Wth right. Jes's Wonderful Idea. Yea, waited with Jes after the meal, for her parents to pick her up, chatted and then..... I MISSED THE LAST TRAIN. Hahaha so took the last bus 12 back lorh. Went back and slept like a pig.

Thursday was nonsense day. Went for Violin lesson early in the afternoon, then went home and slacked the whole day.

Friday was shopping day. Went to parkway with sis to shop. I bought the cards and wrote them and posted them on the spot. Then went to post them and met Mel and Shilin her sis and Shujie. Then went to shop like mad. I had 5 plastic bags at the end of it all. Plus my umbrella. So heavy. Went home, put the stuff, and changed and left for training. Training was abit crap, Sir scolded me, in a way. He insulted Jes and Mel subtly also, though maybe they didn't catch it. I'm quite angry with him and myself. yeah. Anyway, after training I sent Jes to her Grandma's house and then I went home and finalised my new arrangement. haha.

Then today lor. Nothing much. After slacking the entire day, apart from going to Tampines for awhile to buy something, my family left for East Coast. Didn't know everyone was dressed so informally, then my whole family dressed like going restaurant eat like that. Food wasn't so bad, drank some champagne too, when I reached half-glass I felt a little light-headed and stopped cos I would be meeting Jes later to pass her her present. So, I left after awhile, Dad drove me home. Went all the way to Compasspoint and was early. hahaha Jes was late, so I walked into Popular and looked around for awhile. When Her Majesty finally arrived, I passed the gift to her. Wanted to sit down at starbucks or something for a chat, but turns out, her mum was already at Compasspoint to pick her up. So I walked her to the road there, said bye, and went home. And now, I'm typing this lor...

Yeah, that's the week so far. I'm looking forward to Alumni concert next year.

For Christmas, I pray that Jes has a safe and enjoyable cruise, to wherever the ship is going. I pray that Jes and Mel will get into the JC of their heart's choice next year. I pray that everything will go smoothly for everyone. And of course, I pray that the world becomes a happier place.

Have a good night everyone. I'm done blogging for the week.

WHEEEEEE papers are overrrr!!

Hahah. Funnily enough, I didn't really work at all for these term tests. Let's start from last Sunday.

Sunday
Slacked around at home while Jes and Mel went for training at CBC. Then I went to meet Val for lunch at Tamp KFC, then we went to the library to study. Yes, for the first time in my entire year, I was studying, writing notes and all. Normally I just read the lecture notes.

But my studying did not last long. I got a call from Mel asking me to join them at TM. Hahaha so I did. They were with Colin and Anthony and they were at the arcade. hahaha we played air hockey and anthony played his FAVOURITE GAME, the arcade fishing game.

After that, I remembered I had to give my grandmother her dinner so the four of them decided to tapao back dinner to my place and eat. Haha. They stayed till about 10pm, within which I TRIED to help Jes with her phone's screen protector, which had caught oil underneath. Didn't really work out the way I wanted it to though.

So they left at 10pm, and I ironed till 1pm, then I slept.

Monday
Woke up and went to school for Math exam. Paper was quite easy. Then I went home and left again for training. Was early though, chatted with Jes (who was also early) awhile before everyone filled in and training started. Mayves and Julie walked past Jes and me while we were chatting. I was so shocked la. hahaha. Training was pattern as usual, which made it quite slack.

With training over, Mel's parents came to pick her up, and Jes and Me took the MRT back. We chatted quite a lot more on the train, and I finally asked.

Reached home and studied some more for TBP, then I went to sleep.

Tuesday
TBP sucked, and REBUS was pretty hard too. But scrape-able. hahaha. After the paper I met Jes and Mel for dinner at Bedok Corner. They damn funny man, EVERY SINGLE THING also can argue one. hahaha. We left the place feeling damn bloated. I walked them to the bus stop which had bus 43, then I took the bus with them for ONE stop. hahaha Jes took it all the way to Sengkang and Mel took it to parkway. As for me, I stopped after one stop because there was Alumni pract.

We "sight-read" Armenian Dances Part II!! HAhah I love that song.

Wednesday
Didn't have any paper on this day, so Jes, Mel and me met up at parkway to go play pool! hahaha told you my term test week was slack.

Anyway, we played pool for about... 4 hours? Yeah and it was damn funny. Renhao joined us halfway, though he left for home immediately after we finished. The pooling was damn crap la. Mel was influencing everyone so most of our shots sent the white ball going into the holes. hahaa. The three of them are good lorh, I don't think I was this good at pool when I turned 16. hahah.

So after Renhao left, the three of us went Yoshinoya to eat. As usual I was comparing the yoshi in Japan with the ones in Singapore. hahaha. Bloated ourselves again, and went opposite parkway to buy bubble tea. Long time no drink. Chatted at the promenade that area for about half an hour, then we left for home.

I went home and read the Hospi notes until lecture 4, then I couldn't take it anymore and went to sleep.

Thursday
Hospi paper was hard. But manageable lah. And Jes got into TJC, not VJC like she wanted, and Mel got into TPJC. Cheer up Jes and Mel! O LEVEL RESULTS WILL BE BETTER THEN YOU CAN GO WHEREVER YOU LIKE! hahaha.

My violin teacher stressed me out today during the lesson.

Nothing much today either. Ironed my 5 shirts, 4 pants and gi in 3 and a half hours. Hey that's an improvement! hahaha. I went to sleep without even reading my ESFAC notes.

Friday
Read through ESFAC on the way to the paper. Paper was relatively easy except that I remember the value for 1 Horsepower wrongly. KNS. Sure minus about 10 marks already. But no matter, because the last paper was OVERRR!!!

Hahah YongHan cancelled the meeting and so I went to TM to meet Jes and Mel. Ate Mac for brunch. THEN! as we were walking to the cinema, the both of them remembered that the cinema would be COLD. SOOOO we went back to my house to grab a jacket for Jes and took a cab back to TM. Something to note: If you wanna take a taxi from my house next time, it's better to call one than to wait.

Managed to grab popcorn and drinks before Casino Royale started. Movie was kind of ok, but the plot is seriously a bit weird. And the Bond and the Bond girl look totally out of the Bond Legacy's league. And Mel toppled the entire popcorn box, thus leaving very little popcorn left. These clumsy people.

After the movie we went back to my place so I could give my granny her dinner before we left for training.

Training was pattern again. And we were discussing about the next day's tournament at Marist. OH and Mel got soooooo emotional over Chris's getting into TPJC, same JC as her. Talk about an emotional attachment. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

After training, Mel left so fast I didn't even manage to say bye. hahaha. Then Jes and me walked to the MRT's taxi stand where her cousin was waiting to pick her. Chris was behaving damn funnily along the way.

Yeah I got home and slept like a pig.

Saturday, today.
Met Jes at Tanah Merah before meeting Mel and Jacqueline at Pasir Ris. Was supposed to go to MJC so that Jacqueline could hand in her appeal, but alas! The appeal was only on weekdays. So bo pian we went back to WhiteSands and ate breakfast. Or rather, I ATE while Jac and Mel drank and Jes just sat there. I felt so bad la. And I also heard some rather disturbing stuff while eating.

Anyway, Jac went home after that and the three of us took 89 to Sengkang, WHERE WE SPENT ABOUT A BLOODY HALF AN HOUR TRYING TO FLAG A DAMN TAXI.

In the end we went back to the interchange's taxi stand and finally got one after queuing with the humongous crowd. Reached Marist just in time for Colin's and Anthony's match against each other. So sad right. Colin lost. And Anthony's opponent for the next two matches didn't turn up! Lucky fellow. Got silver just like that.

Jes Mel Me and Jes's friend from Marist left early cos we figured we wouldn't be able to catch Anthony's last match as Mel had work. Dong Xing (Jes's friend) took us to Ang Mo Kio MRT and then went home. We took the train to City Hall and then walked to the starbucks in millenia walk. The place is quite nice, less crowded than marina square.

Sat at starbucks with the both of them and chatted till Mel left for work. Then Jes and me chatted about insightful stuffs, all the way to compasspoint, even through dinner. Haha waiting for a table at compasspoint's Banquet was damn stupid man. We waited for these two tables, whichever left first, for about 10 minutes. Then Jes got so tired of waiting, she went to another table where an old uncle was eating alone and somehow(I don't know how I couldn't hear what she said) managed to get the table. The uncle left after finishing his meal.

And like all outings, we left banquet BLOATED hahahaha. Jes brought me to see the belts on display at Metro. Dang I want to get a new belt, but dunno what pattern to buy. Maybe I should ask Mayves to get the school belt this time? hahahahaha I'm just joking, Mayves. AND YOU HAVEN'T GIVEN ME MY SOCKS.

Anyway. After that Jes brought me to the bus stop. I wanted to walk her home, but that stubborn little girl wouldn't have it. Finally there's someone more stubborn than me. She said that I wouldn't know how to walk back. hahahaha looked like it though. Sengkang is a confusing town. Every direction you turn, it looks the same. Grass with a road and a wall of new and really nice HDB esate behind.

So anyway, she sent me off bus 89. I was really tired and slept on the bus. But I managed to reach Whitesands and take the MRT back home, where I bathed and am now typing this here. hahaha.

Thanks to Jes and Mel for the damn fun week! Who says term test week is sian? hahahaha.

WHEW!
WHAT A WEEK!

Thank you Jes.

Sunday, December 10, 2006

Ok, I'm here to update cos Mel's been bugging me to.

So. Past week's been quite stupid, with the REBUS presentation cocking up and my violin teacher saying my bow control is seriously having problems, then with so many close friends having problems of their own. How to be a happy week like that?

Exams start tomorrow:
-Monday: Math
-Tuesday: REBUS and TBP
-Wednesday: No paper
-Thursday: H&T
- Friday: ESFAC

Die man, I think this sem my GPA is seriously going to drop.

But on a happier note, Mel's 16 already! Like, finally. Can play pool already. So yesterday we went to play pool, actually asked Jesalyn also, but she was meeting her friend. But Mel's playing improved! hahaha comparing the beginning and the ending lah. hahah.

Many people ask me why I prefer hanging out witih girls than with guys. The answer is very simple. Firstly, I know more girls than guys, like in my poly class. Secondly, most guys only go out in groups to play LAN.

And I'm at home now, with so many things to do, laundry, ironing, studying(HAH), practise, and I think I'm gonna squeeze in some time to bang the piano for awhile.

BLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAHBLAH

Figuring what to eat for lunch when you're stuck at home is damn hard. I can't decide whether to go out to the lib and study then eat while I'm out, or whether to buy food from the stalls near my house, which is qutie a distance away, or to just stick to eating instant noodles again.

I wish humans didn't have to feel hungry.
