yo! 4 more!!... or is it 7 less??
it's like, thinking on the positive side of life, we say that 7 exams are over!! or only 4 more!!
it's like, i was actually feeling down when i wrote my past entry.... when suddenly i remembered wad xingwen once said to me: "u percussion rite? den muz haf veri good pulse.......line dancin.......blahblahblah...."
den i thought, how come ar? den i realised percussion got more time to concentrate on pulse and rythms, no nid to learn fingering, not to mention remembering it.... den wad else?? oh, and the tone quality and all tat...
of course, it doesn't mean we learn nothing at all... in fact, we all learn something everyday.... tat's why i go back to the band rm everyday(being arrogant), see?? im trying to learn sumting else.... hahahaha
the learning of new things no nid to be taught one, sometimes people try experiments den can find out things tat others dun noe... like wad zat found out abt the double notes or sumting with special fingering....
wouldn't it be cool if our percussion section becomes like those US state high school drumlines..... u hear them rolling, u'd think ur handfone is ringing on silent(the vibration).....
but of course, they become so pro because they stick to their instruments.... like, the snare is a section by itself, the tenors are also by themselves....
concert bands' percussion also have something to be proud of... like J commented, we learn how to play sooo many instruments.... we have to learn how to play all, sumting i have not yet achieved completely.... i can't sight read notes, everytime muz count den find the note on the keyboard....
J? i think auxillary refers to small instruments, really...
yah aniwae, i going to mope around the house wif nothing to do again... gotta go...
why everytime muz write based on wad somebody said ar??
